As soon as you enter the Lost Kingdom of Fura, you’ll have your first “official” boss battle. Again, this one is not hard. If Matt’s in your party, and if you use your Hero’s brave burst skill, this battle will be over in one or two rounds.

After the battle, Matt leaves your party. (But he gives you 200G and a Fruit of Agility!)

Enter the building that looks like your home and search the night stand in the bedroom for a Fruit of Sorcery. Then head north toward the castle, and follow the apparition. Here you discover the link between your world and the Kingdom of Fura.

Now head back to Rodwaal, but on the way, talk to the Soldier in the Path to Fura to unlock Quest 03.
