The Phantom Peak

Exit Fantasy Station to the north, and you're on the Phantom Peak. The Phantom Peak consists of two screens (and a cave), and at the end of the second screen there's a portal to the Phoenix Altar.

Note: The random encounters here are no joke. Onigami and Inugami have 5,000 HP each, and no matter what skills you use they take a long time to kill. Even worse, Inugami can use Revidal, which revives an opponent with full health. They are weak against anti-mecha weapons, but not anything else.

Navigating the Phantom Peak is crazy, but I'll do my best here to guide you through it.

The First Screen

To get past the first screen of the Phantom Peak, you have to go through the Cave of the Phantom Peak.

The cave is really dark, and it takes awhile to find your way through the first time around.

The cave entrance is on the mountain peak on the east side of the screen, but you have to take the long way around the lake in order to get there.

From the entrance, go west until you reach the edge the lake, then follow the path along the north side of the lake until you go past the east edge.

Now take the path up the side of the mountain, and enter the cave.

Inside the cave, start out going south, and then go west as far as you can.

Now go north until the path splits, and then go to the southeast to exit back to the Phantom Peak.

Use the Map if you need to, to help you find your way through the cave.

Back on the Phantom Peak, go west across the bridge, then north to the third level of the peak.

Go east as far as you can, and take the last path up the side of the mountain.

The Second Screen

On the second screen, go around the trees and follow the path above the lake as far as you can. Now take the path up the mountain, go west, and take this path down the mountain.

Go in between the small lake and the tree, and around the other trees, and take the path up the mountain that's all the way on the west side of the peak.

Now, go around this lake, and above the trees, and take this path up the mountain. Then, go east (below the lake) and take the next path down the mountain, then east again and take the next path up the mountain.

Go north around the lake, and take this last path up the side of the mountain to reach the portal to the Phoenix Altar.
