The Shrine of Darkness

To get to the Shrine of Darkness, fly into the big round mountain range and land your Phoenix next to the fortress.

Note: Before you face off against Eve of Zero, I'd recommend you try to get your Levels above 70. You can beat Eve of Zero if your Levels are lower than that; it'll just take a ridiculously long time.

There's no treasure here until after the Boss battle, so just go north through the first two screens, and then when Viper prompts you to, go ahead and Save your game and then go a bit further to launch the Boss battle.

Unless you're over level 100 or so, this battle is going to be a real pain.

You'll definitely want to have Holy Lv3 (or higher), Revidal, and Ricadarin for this battle.

This battle is just plain nasty.

Be sure to Poison Eve of Zero right off the bat, and then use all your strongest skills and watch everyone's HP and SP closely.

Harty's attack is basically useless in this battle, so have her handle all the healing and the potions (well, as much as you can, anyway).

Don't be afraid to use your Elixirs in this battle, but try to make each one count.

After the battle, Viper gets his memory back, and you're transported back to Ortia Castle.

Note: Before you do anything else, go back to the Shrine of Darkness and get the treasure!

Now you can go to Ortia Castle and continue the last leg of your journey.
