Atoli Pier

Atoli Pier is northwest of Atoli Town, past the Mountain Cave. To get there, follow the mountain range and look for a small blue town on the western edge of the coastline.
The Search for Harty's Father
Talk to the other people in town, and you find out that Harty's father is doing business in Ilga. In order to get to Ilga, you need to take a ship. But you need tickets to get on the ship, and you don't have any.
The ship tickets are in the basement of the equipment shop in a treasure chest. Talk to the woman in the back of the shop and she'll offer to give you the tickets if you take care of her rat problem.
Basement, Equipment Shop
There are two levels to the basement, and the ship tickets are on the second level. The enemies here are really easy - you should be able to Auto every battle if you want to.
Finding your way through the basement shouldn't be too difficult. There is one secret passage, though, that you might miss. (Okay, it’s not actually “secret,” it just doesn’t look like there’s a path there.)
First Floor
You can’t see it, but there is a path below this row of boxes.
On the first floor, go east from the stairs and follow the path to a Reinforcing Gem. Then go back to the stairs and follow the path to the west to get a Potion.
Now go south, and follow the path all the way to the east to get another Potion. Go south again.
At the bottom of the screen, you'll see a long row of boxes and barrels - although it doesn't look like it, you can actually walk below these boxes.
Follow the path to get to a treasure chest containing a Reinforcing Gem.
West of the row of boxes, there's a locked door that has to be opened by pushing a button. The button is on the wall at the end of the pathway west of the door. Open the door, and take the stairs down to the second floor.
Second Floor
On the second floor, light the candlestick and follow the path to the northwest.
On the southern edge of the second floor you'll come to two treasures: a Potion, and a Reinforcing Gem. Go northeast, and when the path splits, you can go to the south and light the second candlestick (although you may not need to).
Go north from here, and Harty tells you she thinks there's a secret passage. Go through the passage, light the candlestick, and go north. At the top of the screen, follow the path to the east to get a Reinforcing Gem. Now go west to get the Ship tickets.
Now that you have the tickets, you can go to Ilga. (But first get the other treasures here, if you haven’t already.)
Treasure
- Reinforcing Gem - located in the northeast corner of the first floor.
- Potion - located in the northwest corner of the first floor.
- Potion - located along the main path on the first floor.
- Reinforcing Gem - located at the end of a "hidden" pathway below a row of boxes on the first floor.
- Potion - located along the southern edge of the second floor.
- Reinforcing Gem - located along the southern edge of the second floor.
- Reinforcing Gem - located in the northeast corner of the second floor.
- Ship tickets - located in the northwest corner of the second floor.
Enemies
- Rat - drops Poison Antidote; Sands of Life
- Fang Rat - drops Herb Water; Potion
Treasure in Atoli Pier
Go through the gap in the fence to get to a treasure.
Note: Behind the Item Shop, there's a small break in the fence. You can't see it, but it's right above the tree.
Go through this gap to get to a small fenced off area that has a treasure chest. Inside is a Reinforcing Gem.
Your First Oopart
Once you're in Atoli Pier, talk to Harty's father's subordinate (the guy in the blue shirt standing near the entrance) and he'll give you your first oopart: an Ancient Astronomy Disc.
There are sixteen ooparts scattered throughout the game. Each one has a different number of Gems you can use to upgrade your skills, so it's worth it to find all sixteen of them (plus, it's kind of fun.)
Go to the History menu and examine the Ancient Astronomy Disc for one Reinforcing Gem.
