The Sun-dappled Path
To find the sun-dappled path, take the west exit out of Ortia Town. You'll end up on the World Map on a small wooded island.
Go to the north of the island and look for a square with three trees on it; this is the entrance.
Navigating the Path
There are two screens in A sun-dappled path.
At the end of the second screen you get the Hunter's Certificate. It increases the amount of EXP you get from each battle, so it’s definitely worth equipping to somebody.
Note: You'll run into a lot of Sprites in this area.
They enter battle in a state of Confusion, and will tend to attack the other enemies for as long as the other enemies stay alive. They're also incredibly strong against physical attacks - the only way to kill them right now is to use Fire magic.
First Screen
When you enter the first screen, follow the path all the way to the west. You have to go through a couple of trees, and then you can get to the first treasure. Now go back and follow the path around to the north. When the path splits, go to the southeast to get a blue star treasure.
Now go back and follow the path to the northeast. The path splits again, and if you go to the northeast there's another blue star treasure. Now go to the northwest, and there's another blue star treasure, and beyond that is the exit to the second screen.
Second Screen
On the second screen, take the path to the north to get a blue star treasure. Now go back and follow the path all the way to the east until it circles back around to another blue star treasure.
Now go back and take the path to the north. When the path splits, go east to get a treasure. Now go back and take the path to the west.
When the path splits again go west to get another treasure. Now go east and follow the path until it turns back to the west. Take the north path to another blue star treasure, then keep going west and go through a couple of trees until you come to the end of the path, where there's a blue star treasure and the final treasure chest.
After you’ve got the Hunter’s Certificate, you can just go north to exit the dungeon. Now go back to Ortia Town, and take the north exit to reach the Fortress.

- Super Potion - located in the southwest corner of the first screen.
- Elixir - located on the southeast side of the first screen.
- Reinforcing Gem - located along the northeast passage on the first screen.
- Reinforcing Gem - located along the northwest passage on the first screen.
- Reinforcing Gem - located along the first north passage on the second screen.
- Diffusing Gem - located at the end of the first east passage on the second screen.
- Elixir - located at the end of the second east passage on the second screen.
- Super Potion - located near the end of the second screen.
- Reinforcing Gem - located near the end of the second screen.
- Diffusing Gem - located at the end of the second screen.
- Hunter's Certificate - located at the end of the second screen.
