The Cloisters of Darkness
Written by MSG Commander
This is it - the final location before the credits roll (and before you unlock the Bonus Material.)
There are two treasures right near the entrance - one to the west and one to the east.
Get those two treasures and go north to a four-way intersection.
Again, there are two treasures, one to the west, and one to the east.
Now go north to the second screen.
Follow the path to the east. After it circles all the way around to the west, go north to get the treasure.
Now go east across the tiny little bridge, and then get the last treasure, and take the path to the north.
At the end of this path, there's a section where statues are blocking the way forward.
Go north of the first statue to reach the button to move it out of the way, then south of the second one, north of the third one, and south of the fourth one.
After that, follow the path to the exit to the third screen.
On the third screen, use the Recovery point, and go north for the final Boss battle.
Final Boss Battle
Eve of Death I and II
Eve of Death I - 10,000HP/200SP
Eve of Death II - 15,000HP/300SP
2000EXP/2000G
Both are weak against Anti-Mecha Weapons
Drops: Super Potion, Elixir
This battle is tough, but it’s a lot easier if you have four Anti-curse necklaces.
Both bosses use a lot of Sleep, Silence and Confusion, so if you’re protected against these, not only will their attack be ineffective, but they will essentially have wasted a turn trying to put you to sleep.
You can Poison both bosses, and that'll help some, but the best strategy is to focus on Eve of Death I first, as he has fewer HP.
Of course, have Clia use White Heaven (or the Flames of Hell) to attack both of them each turn - but then use Dragonrun, Dragonhead Slash and Triple Shot at every opportunity.
If you don’t have four Anti-curse necklaces, either stock up on Cure-alls, or just Defend whenever a party member is confused.
If you start to feel like you've almost won this battle, take some time to restore everyone's HP and SP as best as you can. As soon as this battle's over, you get to fight:
Final Boss Battle
Robot Hellraiser
30,000HP/1,000SP
2500EXP/3000G
Weakness: Light attacks
Drops: Elixir
Note: Technically speaking, this is the final Boss battle.
But, since the story continues after the credits roll, it's actually not.
So don't go crazy using all your Elixirs in this battle, because you'll still need them later in the game.
This guy really, really sucks. He takes forever to beat, and he typically does a lot of damage each turn.
Watch everyone's health, and try to use Potions and Super Potions whenever possible, but save as many Elixirs as you can for the Boss battles in the bonus area. (After all, you can get more Potions and Super Potions, but you only get a certain number of Elixirs through the whole course of the game.)
You can also get by with using Ricadiran almost every turn (if you have it.) The only time you kind of have to use an Elixir is if he casts Sudden Death (which will happen at least once.) But even then, if he's close enough to dead, you can save the Elixir and just finish the battle with one dead party member.
Use Poison as soon as you can, and aside from that use the usual Dragonhead Slash, Triple Shot, White Heaven (or Flames of Hell), and Dragonrun strategy - but make sure to keep everyone's HP up! If you don't watch your health closely, you will lose. It will seem excessive to use Ricadira every turn, but if that's what it takes to win, then trust me, it's worth it.
Basically, have Effat and Viper attack as much as possible, and use Harty and Clia for healing, and to give people Skill Herbs and such (and use their attack skills when you know you can get away with it). This is not your typical Kemco Final Boss - this guy is actually hard.
If you underestimate Robot Hellraiser, he will make you cry!
After you beat Robot Hellraiser, there's a scene at the Town of the Moon Folk. After that is the ending credits. After the credits, you get the Crimson Key (now you can open all the Red doors in the game.)
Now you’ve officially won the game!
(But if you want to, you can keep playing and do all the bonus material.)
