I’d been farming the east island up to about 35 then the demon castle…forgot about that island. And the area around the arena I don’t remember if they were tough.  But thanks for the reminder

If Mirror World is unlocked prior to post-game, it is even better.  I’m there now, and some easy monsters yield over 6000 EXP.

Inside a house in Kari.  I don’t know if it is unlocked prior to the post-game.  I just got 17K experience from one easy battle.

OK, your picture confirms that “Mirror World” is not unlocked until the post-game.  It has the best place to get EXP (but by then you will be close to MAX anyway) and gold (which is extremely useful for buying stat boosts and best weapons at the arena).

Ooh they sell stat boosts.. sweet. I went back to farming the east isle, skellies on the island you mentioned we’re messing up the “per battle” totals. How is the post game, arena and bonus dungeon? And have you gone back  to “elf town”?

Post-game arena is a killer, but extremely interesting, because the battles all require tricky/exotic tactics.  With just a few minutes in Mirror World you will get to max level (50) and be amassing gold to buy the best weapons and stat boosts (they cost a mountain of gold).  There are also some difficult puzzles (see Lonely Isle), but I haven’t progressed through everything.  So the post-game is much more complicated than most rpg post-games.

As far as “going back’: the arena has about 17 different battles, but each has to unlocked by defeating every type of monster in each locale.  I had completed a few of the locales, but need to go back to others to find the missing monsters.  There really isn’t any way, prior to the arena, to know if you are missing some monsters for a particular area (the arena does tell you how many are missing in each named area).

A word of caution: I had a catastrophic crash that rendered my save file useless.  I have been in contact with the developer and he  has made a fix (actually fixes) that may remove a couple of bugs I experienced.   The developer quickly made the fix and released it to Google Play.  I updated, and yes, it works and my save file now loads and plays properly.   My suggestion to you is to keep at least 2 saves, one that is your current play, and one that is perhaps just a few minutes older.

So I completed the Mirror World, and will now do a little grinding there to get gold to buy some expensive status buffs.  Then I’ll try another monster in the arena.

Arena is very tough, but interesting.  1 dungeon has tough puzzles, the other (Mirror World) great for EXP and gold.  If “elf town” is Niacia, then yes, in the post game you should go back (I think).  You answer some questions, according to your play style (no answer is wrong), and depending on what you answered, you will get one, and only one, of a reward (you don’t get to choose): a blue amulet (raise HP about 2000), or a green amulet (raise AP about 200), and perhaps a 3rd amulet (I didn’t try all combinations of answers).
