Warlord Revival – Game Length

Warlord Revival doesn’t have difficulty options, but it’s hard on its own. Since this was originally released back in 2009, it doesn’t have any IAPs to help speed up your playthrough or progression.

It took me 23 hrs to reach the true final boss (exclusive to the Android remake), or 24 hours of in-game time to reach the ending (see the screenshot above) on my first playthrough. It probably would’ve taken less time if I hadn’t grinded to level 99 and recorded my gameplay. And iirc, the time I reached the first final boss was around 19 hrs to 20 hrs around level 60+ in game time.

On my second playthrough, I decided to start grinding my levels from scratch. I skipped most of the dialogue while choosing the correct options and completing the character events to unlock each companions extra ending again. I also fought the bosses that are only accessible during a second playthrough and under specific conditions, cleared the NG+ tower dungeon all the way to the top, and obtained everyone’s ultimate weapon except the protagonist’s. As shown in the screenshot above (first playthrough time carries over to NG+), it took me 8 hours to accomplish all of this. I stopped just outside the super/uber boss dungeon because I was planning to record it at some point, but that never happened.

 

One of EXE CREATE wildest RPGs with a good story. The game features plenty of suggestive and mature content, ranging from pools of blood and outright adultery to dark themes such as revenge and brothers literally fighting each other to the death and betrayals. It also has its fair share of comedic moments, such as a character event where the female protagonist unknowingly sniffs her companion’s loincloth.
