Worst case, can’t you teleport out of town? Also, do any of the D-Pad keys change near the ledge? Tried reusing it near ledge?

Jesusalva is right, you have no other option than to use the warp function. It’s the V key in the PC version, and you probably know how to use the warp function in the mobile version, because otherwise you wouldn’t have made it that far.
