Special magic is a combination of two or more of the elementals. For example, to get "Cluster Guard", both Fire and Water must reach level 22. If you want all the characters to learn all the spells, each character must level Fire, Water, Thunder and Wind up to level 99. Chelsea begins with "What just happened?" already learned.
