Verdigris Pass

Enemies:

Land here and walk southwest to reach Verdigris Pass
Locating Verdigris Pass is quite the challenge.
After leaving the Capital, board your ship and travel north to the top of the World Map (where the maelstrom was).
Then sail to the northeast corner, and head south towards the Shrine of Anemoi region until you reach the area indicated on the Map.
Now get off your ship, and walk south through the mountain range until you reach the southern coast.
Then go west until you see a small lake, and enter the cave just beyond it.
After the scene, hug the east wall to the treasure containing “Floating Moss x16.” Then continue on south to a new screen.
There are some treasures here so let’s get to it.
- Treasure #1: Go east past the icy trail then past the spikes, until you see a wall protruding outwards, but hugging the left wall will let you enter the secret passage to a passage containing “Mirror Bazantar.”
- Treasure #2: Directly south of the secret passage leading to Treasure 1 is another secret passage to a chest containing “Acquire Orb.”
- Treasure #3: From the entrance directly go south until you see the stairs leading to the next room. Look for the small lake taking up about 8 squares, and hug the wall that is southwest of that to enter a secret passage leading to a chest containing “Burst Cake x4.”
Now go directly south to a new screen.
Go west from here and don’t go down the stairs, instead go south down the leftmost corridor, and follow it through till you reach the end. Hug the right wall here and enter the secret passage to a chest containing “Swap 2 Orb.”
Head back and now go down the stairs (be sure to use some Floating Moss here). Go east ignoring the stairs to the north (nothing is there), then south, then west past the first icy trail then slide up the second icy trail for a chest containing “Vitality Drop x2.” Go south from here to enter a new screen.
This screen is a bit like a maze and there are some treasure chests here so let's get 'em but first step on the west icy trail to slide to the west, then south ,west, south, east, north, east. You will arrive where you can see a Treasure Chest to the south. Step on the east icy trail to reach a two way fork. From here you get 2 treasures.
- Treasure #4: From the two way fork, step on the north icy trail, then go east, north, west, south, east, south, west and then finally south. To the west of the south route containing “Special Bottle x2.” Now take the second trail to the north, then go west, south, west, south, west, and south once more to get back to the two way fork.
- Treasure #5: From the two way fork step on the east Icy Trail , then south, west, south, east, north, west and then south for a chest containing “Jelly Bucket x3.” Now go west, south, east, north, east, south, west, then south one more time to get to the exit to the next screen.
On this screen is a chest to the east, but to reach it is a bit of a puzzle which somewhat resembles the one below. The “O”s are the rocks here. Start from where the “TTTT” is and slide from there. Its north, west, north, east. Treasure is “Mana Stew x5.”

Head east to the new screen. Go a little further to trigger a scene.
Now go east to a new screen. Southeast of here is a chest containing “Gold Flower x3.” Now go north across the icy trail, up the stairs, then all the way east, then north. Hug the left wall here while walking to enter a secret passage to a chest containing “Ore(L).”
Head back down from the stairs, then south past the stalactites, down the stairs, and then west across the icy trail to a chest in the northwest corner containing “SP Drop x3.” Now go down the stairs, then pass the icy trail east to a chest surrounded by spikes containing “Intelligence Drop x2.” Go back to the stairs and take the bottom icy trail to reach the south route. Slide north to heal and prepare for a boss battle (not) on the next screen (hehe).
This new area is like a maze eh? Well it isn’t, pretty straight forward and there are no treasure chests here. Just slide from either of the sides to reach the south passage to the next screen and now prepare for a boss battle.
Boss Battle
Zaram, Skyah
Recommended Level: 44
- 1004Exp/3150Gold
- Drop: Knowledge Orb, Attack Orb
- Steal:
Strategy: This boss battle is hard as heck.
Their demonic forms are a pain in the butt I tell ya.
What’s more you have to KILL THEM BOTH AT THE SAME TIME.
Yes, you heard me right. You have to kill them at the same time otherwise they will resurrect with half HP. Keep this in mind; you might have to use burst here.
Zaram will always use “Counter Guard” on his first turn. Skyah on the other hand just wails like a mindless freak.
De buff their speed and defense first and then use AOE (Area of Environment) attacks on them. Wind Cutter, Aqua Shot, Roaring Flames work wonders here but Blazing Impulse just demolishes Skyah in just a few turns, so use it often.
Heal often and don’t hesitate to use some Resurrect Cookies to save your behind.

You can’t really feel bad for them after that. Anyways exit the cave by using the south passage.
