Nope, the dialogue doesn’t change. Nothing really changes since she doesn’t disappear when you defeat her and she tells you that you can challenge her again anytime.

I don’t remember this particular boss but I did complete the game 100% so I must have beat it. I remember using 1oldtymer‘s strategy though for the final bosses, I assume this would work for that boss maybe? Here was my gear and carmina which may help to give you some ideas (I can’t remember what skills and such I used though its been so long):

Chloe – lvl 64
Phantom Rod +5
Mighty Robe +5
Conjuer Ring +5

Carmina: Vitaly Deluge / Health Vitality

Lloyd – lvl 61
Chaos Sword +5
Dark Mail +5
High Warrior Ring +5

Thanks! The issue I have is nothing indicates to go back through there and talk to him. I would have never done that naturally if there wasn’t an achievement for all of Ross’s skills (I’m on xbox). After beating the boss of the dungeon I usually ‘warp’ out since there’s nothing else to do. You would only ever get this if you backtrack through the dungeon after beating him, and even then he’s just sitting in a corner with no indication to talk until you walk up to him, or do like I did and go back through it looking for stuff you missed. I think the subquest giver did mention that she thought he was lonely and might need someone to talk to when I went back and talked with everyone though which is why I went back through there.

Anyways, big shout out to this community for being so helpful and friendly to us xbox folks!

Update: Found it! After spending an additional 4 hours talking to everyone in every town, searching every dungeon, leveling up to 99 and defeating the 2 post content bosses.

Once you complete the last subquest ‘On the Blizzard’ you must go back into Deo Hyodora Ruins and talk to the werewolf and he will give you the Neo Testament skill -_-.  Hope this helps with some frustration.

I appreciate it. I’ll just have to go back through all the towns and talk to everyone and if that doesn’t unlock it then double check all the dungeons. I’ll be sure to update this when I find it.

Where was Neo Testament found/learned at?  I’m in the post-game but only in the low 80’s and this is the only skill I’m missing from Ross. Is this learned at lvl 99? I’ve completed all subquests and (pretty) sure I’ve looted all treasures and hidden areas.

I’m sure you figured this out already but I’m playing through this now and was having the same issue with the dislike gifts. On Xbox its 30 dislikes instead of 20 for the title.
