The Eastern Shadowlands

Your first stop in the Eastern Lands is actually The Ship Pier, but there's nothing to do there. (There's not even a treasure.)

Exit the Ship Pier, and go to the village in the southeast. This village is Karin's hometown, the Eastern Shadowlands.

Here you want to go to Karin’s house to get a ship. Karin's house is on the east side of town, next to a water fountain. There's a scene where Karin's parents tease her about having found a potential husband, and then they agree to let you use their ship.

Your next destination is the Northern Temple, which is on the island due north of the Eastern Shadowlands.

(There is another "location" on the same island as the Ship Pier and the Eastern Shadowlands, but there's nothing to do there yet, so just go to the Temple.)

Weapons

Be sure to buy the bow here for Rumil; it’ll give you Arrowrush which attacks all, and Healing Wind which heals all.

Of course, buy weapons for everyone else too, but make sure you get the bow.

I also recommend the Windblast Bowstring, as it ensures that Rumil will always get the first turn in battle.
