You cannot get the treasure in the Library until you've found the Archives Key in the Desert Castle!

There are 8 treasures in the Library (including the 2 barrels). From right to left, they are:

• Dragon Pearl
• Earth Ring
• Ice Helmet
• Sylvan Talisman
• Dragon Pearl
• Water Armlets
• Guard Armor
• Elixir

IMPORTANT: Now that you have the Sylvan Talisman, you can go back and get either the Elf or the Amazon in your party (whichever one you didn't choose the first time).

Once you've recruited them, go to Desert Town and talk to the Water Spirit to get the Spirit Jug. Now, you can go to the Volcano of Essence.
